Bellingen- Local music enthusiasts are in for a treat on May 16th when the enigmatic band “Imaginary Things” brings their unique blend of sounds to the Federal Hotel, promising an evening of unforgettable music.
Imaginary Things are hitting the road on their first tour. Heading out of Newcastle for the first time, although it’s really just an excuse to hang out with Pete Bufo and his mates at a class venue not far from the beach. There’s a reciprocal gig in the pipeline down south, but first up it's the Fed in Bello and the lads cannot wait.
These guys have form, they have supported You Am I, toured with Lime Spiders in their last two shows ever and are widely considered Newcastle’s best opening band. The lead singer is a throwback to the days when lead singers were alien-like, other worldly and just flat out Cray Cray, he’s all of that and some. The band is solid, and you’ll hear lots of high-end grungy, rocky, punky vibes that will surely delight.
Imaginary Things are in the process of recording their debut album and have four singles on Spotify and all the other platforms. There are four cool videos on YouTube to check out in prep for what will be a very pumpy night at the Fed on May 16.
