Paddlers with purpose are brewing up support for cancer research.
Dragons Abreast Coffs Coast is hosting a Biggest Morning Tea at the Mylestom Community Hall, River Street, Mylestom to raise money for the Cancer Council.
Dragons Abreast Coffs Coast is the local breast cancer survivor dragon boat club which uses the Bellinger River at Mylestom for its regular paddling sessions.
The mission of the Club is to help breast cancer survivors recover after treatment and, via paddling, get back to a healthy, fit lifestyle. The Club also works to raise breast cancer awareness on the Coffs Coast and participates in fundraising events for other cancer related charities.
All are welcome as this is a community Biggest Morning Tea with all profits to go to the Cancer Council to fund ongoing support and research.
When: Saturday 5th July from 9.30 – 12.30.
Where: Mylestom Community Hall, River Street Mylestom.
What’s On: Entertainment by the Cabaret Belles, vintage, veteran & classic cars on display, specialty food items & produce on sale, raffle & lucky door prize.
Entry: $5.00 donation includes morning tea & lucky door prize entry.
