Changed overnight traffic conditions on Hyde Street, Bellingen
Motorists are advised of changed overnight traffic conditions next week on the main street of Bellingen for pavement works, which was postponed in April due to wet weather.
From Sunday 18 May there will be night work from 6pm to 6am over four weeks, weather permitting.
A single lane closure will be in place on Hyde Street between Short Street Lane and Prince Street with alternating traffic flow arrangements.
Street parking will be removed and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place during work hours for the safety of workers and road users.
Motorists should allow up to five minutes’ extra travel time.
Motorists are advised to drive to the traffic conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
