As part of their Aged Care Employee Day celebrations, Royal Freemasons’ Benevolent Institution (RFBI) is proud to the announce finalists for its prestigious Showcase Awards, recognising those staff who have demonstrated excellence and dedication in the delivery of aged care services.
Among the 21 finalists shortlisted for an award is RFBI Bellingen Masonic Village Administration Team, Linda Selem and Suraj Gurung, and Bellingen volunteer, Roseann Cairns.
The RFBI Bellingen Masonic Village Administration Team, Linda Selem and Suraj Gurung, have been named finalists for the Team of the Year Award, recognising their quiet effectiveness in supporting the operations of the village.
Roseann Cairns, has been a valued volunteer at RFBI Bellingen Masonic Village for 5 years and is a finalist for the Volunteer of the Year Award, recognising her commitment to enhancing the lives of residents and reducing isolation and loneliness
“Aged Care Employee Day is about celebrating and recognising excellence in Aged Care and I can’t think of better examples of that than in Linda and Suraj as our Administration Team, and our volunteer Roseann,” said Jason D’Onofrio, General Manager of RFBI Bellingen Masonic Village.
“I am beyond proud of the recognition that our Bellingen Team has received in this year’s Awards. I wish Linda, Suraj and Roseann all the best in September.”
Finalists will be honoured at a special awards night in Sydney in September, where the winners will be revealed and celebrated in front of their peers and industry leaders.

Nominees and finalists have been announced as part of RFBI’s Aged Care Employee Day celebrations. Finalists have been invited to attend RFBI’s Showcase Awards evening in September when the winners will be announced.
