In a dazzling display of creativity and skill, all 65 students from Repton Public School recently brought the beloved musical The Lion King to life in their community hall, proving that small schools can deliver big performances.
The production featured imaginative costumes, stunning set designs, and elaborate face painting that transported the audience straight to the African savannah. The show was alive with the rhythmic beats of African drumming, highlighted by an electrifying guitar solo from a talented Year 4 student. The students’ dancing and dramatic acting captivated the crowd, their joyful enthusiasm evident on every face.
One community member shared their delight, saying, “Such a wonderful performance from talented students, beyond our expectations! What a fantastic show by students and staff in our community hall.”
