It’s been a busy couple of weeks at the North Beach Bowls Club for the Mylestom Muddies.
Firstly, congratulations to Vanessa Machon in being selected in the Mid North Coast Women’s Bowls Squad representing the region.
The Club hosted 3 sections in the State Rookie Pairs qualifying, which was a great opportunity to show case our beautiful Club and surrounds. Teams travelled from all over our region to come and play on our amazing green. Congratulations to the team from Nambucca in defeating Sawtell in a great final.
Last Tuesday the green was full and buzzing with our 3 bowl triples money tournament bringing in the big guns from all over to play. What a great day, great company and every better bowls. Coming in on top with 4 wins 34 ends and margin of 30 was Toot, Bob and Athol closely followed by our locals also with 4 wins 34 ends and margin of 25 from Josh, Vanessa and Chris. Our next tournament will be on Tuesday 2nd December.
This Saturday will feature the final of the Men’s pairs with Luke and Brad taking on Chris and Stevo. This one will be a cracker. Good luck both teams. Friday twilight bowls will start again this Friday. 5pm start.
