Attention now turns to one of the region’s most anticipated events — the SGT Matthew Locke MG Charity Golf Day, to be held on Sunday, 9 November. This two-person Ambrose event honours local Sgt Matthew Locke MG who tragically passed away while serving with Special Air Service Regiment in Uruzgan Province in southern Afghanistan on the 25th of October 2007. The day always attracts a strong field, along with outstanding local support and a fantastic atmosphere both on and off the course.
