The 2025 Dorrigo Show is just days away and this year there’s even more value packed into your entry ticket. Once you’re through the gate, you’ll find a huge range of free attractions to enjoy all day long, making it a fantastic and affordable day out for the whole family.
Take a wander through the Show Pavilion, bursting with local talent – from home-baked cakes, jams and preserves to art, photography, sewing and handicrafts. Outside, you can find a seat to watch the horse events and cattle judging, celebrating the best of our local rural skills and livestock.
There’s loads of entertainment for kids and adults alike, with the Reptile World show, Troppo Bob’s magic show, our action-packed Friday night Rodeo, and the always impressive and ever popular Woodchop Competition. Motor enthusiasts will love the dirtbike competition and Ute Show, while teams battle it out in the Young Farmers Challenge, showing off their practical skills in a fun, fast-paced way. And make sure to include the Mark Donaldson Tug-O-War competition in your visit and join the crowd to cheer on the teams to see who will be victorious this year.
Families can also enjoy plenty of animal encounters at no extra cost, with the Dorrigo High School Petting Zoo, our miniature goats waiting for a cuddle, plus face painting and more scattered throughout the grounds to keep little ones smiling.
