C.ex Urunga Golf Results: Winners Crowned Across Holiday Series

C.ex Urunga Golf Club’s Men’s Vets Stableford on Monday, 29 December 2025 produced an excellent scoring day, with Gary Teale taking first place after posting 39 points. Wayne Martin was close behind in second with 38 points, while Ross Williams claimed third on 36. Nearest the pin prizes went to Dennis Holmstrom on the 3rd, Kim Michelsen on the 9th and Mike Edsall on the 18th.

The New Year began in style on Thursday, 1 January 2026 with the Men’s Two Player Ambrose, where visitors Grant Squires and Chris Bradley combined superbly to claim victory with a score of 60.25. Paul and Brett Hoffman finished runners-up on 63.75, with John Leahy and Garry Swain taking third place on 64.75. Nearest the pin honours were shared by Trent Matthews on the 3rd and 12th, Frank Partland on the 9th, Grant Squires on the 16th and Brett Hoffman on the 18th.

Saturday, 3 January 2026 saw the Monthly Medal contested in a Men’s Single Stroke event, with Dale Jenner securing first place after a countback on a nett 68. Frank McGregor also finished on 68 to take second, while Brett Hoffman claimed third with a nett 69. Nearest the pin winners were David McGilvray on the 3rd, Richard Warner on the 9th, James Bullock on the 12th, Brett Hoffman on the 16th and Lyndee Thomas on the 18th.

The Men’s Vets Stableford on Monday, 5 January 2026 was highlighted by an outstanding performance from Anthony Shields, who finished on top with 41 points. David McGilvray continued his strong form to place second with 38 points, while Kim Michelsen took third on 37. Nearest the pin prizes were won by Selwyn Newby on the 3rd, Warren Rawlings on the 9th and Kim Michelsen on the 18th.

A Medley Single Stableford on Thursday, 8 January 2026 saw Kevin Sanford lead the way with 39 points to secure first place. Douglas Springall followed closely in second on 38 points, with Lyndee Thomas finishing third on 37. Nearest the pin awards went to Sanford on the 3rd, Martin Tizzard on the 9th, Ross Hardaker on the 12th, Brett Hoffman on the 16th and Anthony Shields on the 18th.

The final competition in the series was played on Saturday, 10 January 2026, where Peter Cocks produced a fine round to win the Medley Single Stableford with 38 points. Grant Homes finished second on 37 points, while Glenn Petersen secured third place on 36 after a countback. Kim Michelsen claimed nearest the pin on both the 3rd and 9th holes, with Adam Crotty closest on the 12th, David McBaron on the 16th and Dale Jenner on the 18th.
