Craig Delahunty- 40 Years Service.
Craig moved to Urunga and joined the Urunga Surf Club and has patrolled since 1986. (40 yrs- What an effort!)
He was a patrol captain, has competed for Urunga at Branch, Country and State level in surfboats and IRB’s. He was a major player in the demolition and construction of the present day surf club, a major contributor to the annual Surf Club Charity Golf Day and a positive influence about the club.
This is all the more amazing as he started as a surfer from Dee Why who hated “Clubbies” (they always put the flags where the best waves were!!)
Congratulations Craig! On behalf of the Bellingen Shire and the Urunga Surf Club, thankyou for everything you’ve done in the last 40 years!
WOW- I don’t think too many “Clubbies” will ever reach this milestone!
