Iconic US folk star M. Ward to headline Bellingen Golf Club’s official debut

M. Ward and The Undertakers headline the first gig at the new Loyal Bellingen Golf Club

After a packed house for its inaugural Sunday bistro service, the Loyal Bellingen Golf Club looks to maintain the momentum with a rare intimate performance by American songwriter M. Ward.

The new Loyal Bellingen Golf Club is backing up a ‘soft’ opening last Sunday with an exciting gig from iconic US Folk artist M. WARD and his band The Undertakers this Friday 13 March.

Renowned for leaving his audiences spellbound, M. Ward’s warm vocals, intricate guitar work and atmospheric songwriting light up rooms, reaffirming his status as one of the most quietly influential artists of his generation.

“Don't snooze, it'll be the first show for us here and damn well promise it'll be a memorable one,” said Loyal Bellingen Golf Club’s Luke Sullivan

“We've already sold more than half the tickets to this show, you can get them via moshtix.com.au”

“We'll welcome plenty more music to the venue.”

Luke said it was a fantastic day of good food, cold beer, family and friends at the ‘soft’ opening for The Loyal Bellingen Golf Club’s clubhouse and bistro.

“Head Chef, Stephen Peak, and the team did a great job cooking delicious food for the locals to enjoy.”

Golfing member, Ben Tooth won the Annual Allan Burley "Brush Hook Trophy," besting the 55 strong field.

The club and bistro is now open for service Thursday through Sunday (Lunch & Dinner) and the Golf Course open 7 days.

Final interior touches, including a classic clubhouse carpet and a tiled front bar, will be complete in six weeks.

The chicken schnitzel with pumpkin miso butter and chips was a crowd favourite.
