On Sunday, 12 April 2026, the Bellingen Showground Luncheon Pavilion was filled with warmth and gratitude as the Lions Club of Bellingen hosted their annual Senior Citizen’s Luncheon. The event brought together residents from across the Shire—including Bellingen, Mylestom, Urunga, Gleniffer, and Darkwood—to celebrate the selfless dedication of seniors who have volunteered for countless local organisations over the years.
Guests enjoyed a choice of battered fish or crumbed chicken with fresh salad, followed by a delicious dessert. The afternoon was made even more special by the nostalgic sounds of Eddie and His Band, leading the room in a spirited sing-along that brought smiles to every face.
This luncheon served as a heartfelt thank-you to those who have given so much of their time to the Bellingen community, highlighting the Lions Club’s ongoing commitment to acknowledging our local heroes.
