A fishing platform is now open on the new Urunga Boardwalk
The new Urunga Boardwalk now spans 850 metres with a new 80m section and fishing platform now open. Work is now underway on the final 360m of the boardwalk, with completion expected in late 2026. Intermittent closures will occur over the coming months while essential construction works are completed.
