C.ex Urunga’s latest run of competition began on Monday, 21 September 2026, when Robert Jones produced the round of the day in the men’s veterans Stableford. Jones signed for 42 points to finish two clear of Joe Street on 40, with Grant Cardow taking third on 38. The day also belonged to Arthur Hassett on the par threes, as he claimed nearest-the-pin honours on both the third and ninth holes, while Tom Faulkner struck the best approach into the 18th.

C.ex Urunga welcomed the Mid North Coast Vets on Tuesday, September 22 for a Medley Single Stableford. Mike Raymond from Bellingen Golf Club led the field with an excellent 42 points, followed by fellow Bellingen player Terry Cleary on 40. Stephen Hadler from Sawtell Golf Club rounded out the top three with 39 points.

The ladies produced a tight finish in their single Stableford on Wednesday, 23 September 2026, with the leading pair unable to be separated on points. Faye Jones and Lyn Bastick both returned 39, but Jones prevailed on the countback to take the honours. Jeanette Robinson stayed firmly in the contest and claimed third with 38, just one point from the lead.

Peter Wood found the winning formula in the medley single Stableford on Thursday, 24 September 2026, posting 39 points to secure a two-point victory. Brett Bosbach led the chase with 37, while Garry Swain completed the podium on 35. Accuracy into the short holes brought rewards for Anthony Shields at the third, John Piggott at the ninth and David McGilvray at the 18th.

Jeanette Robinson delivered the standout performance of the ladies’ week on Friday, 25 September 2026, compiling 43 points to win the single Stableford and add the Parish Cup to her name. Maria Swain also broke the 40-point barrier and finished runner-up with 41, while Lyn Bastick was again among the leading players, taking third on 39.

Saturday, 26 September 2026, belonged to Jake Day, who separated himself from the field with a superb 43 points in the medley single Stableford. Day’s five-point winning margin left Peter Cocks in second on 38, with Wayne Martin another point back in third on 37. The nearest-the-pin prizes were spread across the field: Wally McGill took the third, Martin added the ninth, Kim Michelsen won the 12th, Beau Davis claimed the 16th and Michael McCormick finished closest at the 18th.

The ladies returned to the course on Wednesday, 30 September 2026, and again the result went all the way to a countback. Helen Trist and Jeanette Robinson each posted 39 points, with Trist earning the victory on the tie-break. Karen Kennedy kept the leaders within sight and secured third with 38, leaving just one point between the first three players.

Scores were harder earned in the medley single Stableford on Thursday, 1 October 2026, and Lawrie Renshall proved the most consistent with 36 points. Kevin Sanford finished one point behind in second on 35, while Waz Botfield took third with 34. Sanford also featured among the nearest-the-pin winners, claiming the 12th, alongside David King at the third, Douglas Springall at the ninth, Steven Robinson at the 16th and Martin Tizzard at the 18th.

Maria Swain handled the change to stroke play best on Friday, 2 October 2026, recording a nett 71 to win the ladies’ single stroke. Lois Milham stayed in contention and secured second with a nett 75, while Karen Kennedy backed up her placing earlier in the week by finishing third on nett 76.

The fortnight’s competition wrapped up on Saturday, 3 October 2026, with Tom Cornelius producing a polished nett 68 to take out the men’s single stroke. Glenn Petersen finished just one shot away in second with 69, while Beau Davis completed a tightly bunched top three on nett 70. Douglas Springall claimed nearest the pin on the ninth, Arthur Hassett took the 12th, Anthony Campbell won the 16th and David McBaron hit the closest shot into the 18th.
