The Australian open studios weekend is a huge celebration of clay. It’s a great chance to meet potters in person, see how artists set up their studios, watch how they make their work and to ask all the technical questions that you can think of. I have been opening my studio for 5 years and I really look forward to the weekend and the wave of enthusiasm and energy that it brings. I particularly enjoy the opportunity to hear about what interests visitors and making and renewing local clay connections.
